Latin Lovers: A Valentine's Day Feast – Chef Luis - Cooking Class

On the menu tonight:

Thinly sliced roasted beets arranged like a classic carpaccio, topped with whipped goat cheese, crushed pistachios, microgreens, and balsamic reduction.

Suggested Wine Pairing: Dry rosé or sparkling wine.

Perfectly seared scallops served over a silky sweet-corn purée, finished with a smoky chipotle–lime butter drizzle.

Suggested Wine Pairing: Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc.

Rolled chicken breast stuffed with mushroom duxelles and herbs, oven-roasted and served with a rich red wine reduction.

Suggested Wine Pairing: Pinot Noir or light Merlot.

A traditional Mexican meringue-based cake made with crushed Maria cookies, topped with a tangy whipped cream cheese frosting and fresh strawberries.

Suggested Wine Pairing: Sparkling Moscato or Prosecco.

$129 + GST per person (for this event, tickets must be purchased in pairs)

Want to save the Eventbrite fee? You can register in person and over the phone directly with the store (604) 939-6200. Payment is required when you register - visa, MasterCard, gift certificates are accepted over the phone, cash and debit in person.

We have a 72 hour cancelation policy. If you need to cancel but have not given 72 hours notice, no refund, transfer to another class or credit will be issued, but you can send somebody in your place.

In the event that not enough participants are registered, we would have to cancel the class. We will notify registered participants at least 48 hrs prior and issue a full refund.

Please inquire prior to booking if there are any food concerns. Menu modifications can not be provided during the event.
