Today, Chef Sue is spilling all her sweetest secrets-what makes each custard unique, how to nail that perfect silky texture, and why custards might be your new baking superpower.
While Chef Sue shows you the tricks of the trade, you’ll nibble on a cozy French Onion Tart with a crisp Green Salad…because baking always starts with a happy tummy.
Then it’s your turn! You’ll jump in hands-on to create the buttery shortbread crust for our lemon bars, plus whip up the zesty lemon custard that makes them irresistible.

Want to save the Eventbrite fee? You can register in person and over the phone directly with the store (604) 939-6200. Payment is required when you register - visa, MasterCard, gift certificates are accepted over the phone, cash and debit in person.
We have a 72 hours cancelation policy. If you need to cancel but have not given 72 hours notice, no refund, transfer to another class or credit will be issued, but you can send somebody in your place.
In the event that not enough participants are registered, we would have to cancel the class. We will notify registered participants at least 48 hrs prior and issue a full refund.
Chefs will try to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions if given 72 hours notice. Please inquire prior to booking if there are any food concern.
