One Sky, Many Stories

Join us at the Blake Planetarium for a unique exploration of the sky through the eyes of cultures and Indigenous societies from around the world. One Sky Project invites us to consider how people across time and place have looked upward, recognized patterns, developed tools, and used the sky to better understand the world around them.

This immersive fulldome experience brings together a collection of stories, each representing the perspective of a different culture or Indigenous society from around the globe. Woven together around the themes of "Finding Patterns" and "To Seek Far," these stories reveal the many ways humans have observed, interpreted, and connected with the night sky.

Rather than presenting a single story of astronomy, One Sky Project celebrates the diversity of human perspectives and the universal curiosity that inspires us to look beyond ourselves. From recognizing patterns in the sky to developing tools that allow us to see farther, audiences will discover that the desire to explore and understand our universe is something we share across cultures.

Come look up, find patterns, and discover how people around the world have sought to understand the sky we all share.

TICKETS ARE SOLD ONLINE ONLY. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.

Please note that we are a ticketless venue. When you buy your ticket online, you are immediately added to our attendee list, so there is no need to print your ticket or present an e-ticket. You can simply check in with your name and a smile.

Parking is free.
Food and drink are not allowed in the planetarium.
