About this Event

Identifying and drafting your Aim, objectives, outcome measures

This hands-on workshop is designed for novice researchers to develop their research aim and objectives, and identify their outcome measures, ensuring consistency throughout the study design.

You will need to bring a charged laptop to this workshop, and have a finalised research question.

Following this workshop participants will be able to:

· Draft a clear aim derived from their research question (Identified in a previous workshop).

· Write specific, measurable objectives.

· Define appropriate outcome measures.

· Ensure aims, objectives, and outcomes are aligned but distinct.

Workshop facilitator: Dr Kate Henning, Darling Downs Health

Please arrive on time for this workshop, as it will commence at the advertised time.

A detailed map of the Baillie Henderson Hospital campus, showing direction of traffic, buildings and parking locations, is available here. Allow adequate time to find a car park, do not assume that a spot will be available in the closest car park. This workshop will be held in the downstairs training room in rush building (Building 5 on the map), which can be accessed on the southern side of the building at ground level.
