Women's Day Event at Bryanston Market: A Celebration of Women, Wellness, and Freedom 🌸
Join us on the 9th of August from 8am to 3pm for a full day dedicated to celebrating all things women. Our Women's Day event is a tribute to the strength, beauty, and resilience of women everywhere. This special day will focus on women’s wellness and freedom, providing an inspiring and empowering experience for all who attend.

YOGA PROGRAM
Join us as we celebrate our freedom to flow, love, grow, heal through yoga, and attain period freedom for our generation of girls.
Event Theme:
A celebration of women and young girls through a series of yoga sessions led by gifted yoga teachers. This marathon aims to raise funds for A Million Girls Foundation to keep 1 million girls in school over the next 5 years and provide them with period freedom. Join us as we create a space for joy, healing, and empowerment through yoga.
Purpose of Event:
A Million Girls Foundation is a non-profit organization that ensures that girls across Africa experience uninterrupted schooling during their menstruation. Many of the girls in our program have experienced trauma. Olerato Yoga aims to redefine African wellness through yoga, supporting girls who have experienced trauma by facilitating holistic health, healing, and self-love.

Freedom to Grow Yoga: 10:00 AM (Instructor: Dize)
Freedom to Express Yoga: 11:00 AM (Instructor: Tatenda)
Freedom to Heal Yoga: 12:00 PM (Instructor: Keabetswe)
Each session will last 30 minutes, offering various types of yoga: Beginners Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Kemetic Yoga, and Vinyasa Yoga.

A Million Girls Foundation: All proceeds will go towards gifting a girl with A Million Girls Foundation Menstrual Cup Kit, which will include a menstrual cup, sterilizer cup, size-appropriate sports bra, underwear, and a yoga mat. A single menstrual cup is safe to use and reusable for up to 10 years. Our goal is to raise R12500 to buy 50 menstrual health cups for 50 girls.
