PEERS holds weekly evening dance classes Tuesday evenings at the Alameda Elks Lodge at 2255 Santa Clara Avenue in Alameda.
7 - 8 pm: Newcomer-friendly class
8 - 9 pm: For experienced dancers & brave newcomers
The 7:00 - 8:00 pm class is newcomer-friendly; the 8:00 - 9:00 pm class is for experienced dancers and brave newcomers and will cover more advanced variations and intriguing choreographies.
The $10 class fee covers one or both classes!
Note: No partners needed. All levels of dance experience are welcome but inexperienced dancers are strongly advised not to attempt the 8:00 pm class without taking the 7:00 pm Newcomer class that precedes it.
Costumes are not required, but we do recommend leather-soled, low-heeled dance shoes, dance flats, or dance sneakers if you have them.
