How much more could your horse give you if you truly understood how to use their body?
The Mechanics of Movement is designed to help riders develop a deeper understanding of how the horse moves and how to influence that movement with precision—not force. By learning to control the rib cage, shoulders, and hips, riders will build better communication with their horses, resulting in improved collection, consistency, impulsion, and overall body control.
But why does that matter?
Instead of constantly correcting your horse, you’ll learn how to prepare your horse to make the correct answer the easy answer.
This clinic is perfect for riders looking to get more out of every ride while asking less of their horse physically.
Clinic Sessions
🕙 Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
🕒 Afternoon Session: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Each session is limited to 4–5 horse and rider pairs, ensuring every participant receives individualized coaching.
💲 $250 per horse & rider pair
Want to take your learning even further? One-hour private lessons are available before, between, and after the clinic for $75 per hour, allowing you to apply the day’s concepts specifically to you and your horse.
This clinic is ideal for:
✔️ Advanced beginner through intermediate riders
✔️ Riders confidently walking, trotting, and cantering independently
✔️ Green horses needing a stronger foundation
✔️ Riders wanting to improve communication, softness, and consistency
Open to all disciplines. While demonstrations will primarily utilize Ranch Riding and Western Pleasure maneuvers, the principles taught apply to every riding discipline.

🌧 Rain or shine! We have both indoor and outdoor riding facilities.
⛑ Helmets are required for all riders under 18 years of age.
👨‍👩‍👧 Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
📄 A current negative Coggins is required at the time of booking.
💵 A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot.
🪢 Please bring one to two bridles so Lindsay can help determine the best option for your horse throughout the clinic.
