About this Event
You’ll learn to create dishes that are light, refreshing, and full of color, perfect for enjoying on warm days or serving at summer gatherings.
In this class, we’ll make:
- Sun tea infused with hibiscus, oat straw, honey, and lime—a naturally sweet, floral refreshment
- Chia pudding with a blueberry tulsi compote, a nourishing, antioxidant-rich breakfast or snack
- Summer vegetable and pesto orzo, a versatile dish bursting with garden-fresh produce
- Watermelon and tomato panzanella, a bright, refreshing salad that celebrates peak summer flavors
Throughout the class, you’ll learn tips for selecting and preparing seasonal produce, balancing flavors, and incorporating herbs for both taste and wellness.
Your teacher, Sarah Morsheimer, is a former Fox Haven farm trainee and avid cook with a passion for turning fresh farm ingredients into delicious, approachable meals. She will guide you step-by-step, sharing her knowledge of seasonal cooking and creative flavor combinations.
Participants will leave inspired, confident, and ready to bring the tastes of summer from farm to table in their own kitchens.
