Family Volunteering Series: Plant Trees with Mini Changemakers

Looking for a way to get your kids involved with serving our natural world? Fox Haven is teaming up with Mini Changemakers to offer hands-on volunteering activities for families with kids of all ages.
In September, we’ll plant trees at Fox Haven's Market Garden! We’ll start with a story, then work as a team to dig, plant, and protect young trees. Together, we can make a lasting difference—one tree at a time.
PLEASE NOTE: This event takes place at one of Fox Haven's satellite locations, the address is 4855 Broad Run Rd. Jefferson, MD. 21755
Registration is free, but required to attend. Caregivers must be present with their children at all times.
Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, bring a water bottle, and gardening gloves!
About Mini Changemakers
Mini Changemakers is a Frederick-based volunteer program dedicated to empowering children and their families to serve the community together. Launched in 2025, Mini Changemakers focuses on giving even the youngest children opportunities to discover that they can make a difference, through monthly family volunteering events and The Mini Changemakers Class for preschoolers.
