About this Event

Looking for a way to get your kids involved with serving our natural world? Fox Haven is teaming up with Mini Changemakers this summer to offer hands-on volunteering activities for families with kids of all ages.

In August, help us improve soil health on the farm! After starting with a story, we will W**d garden beds and spread compost, discovering how organic matter transforms into rich nourishment for future crops. Our soil stewardship will help food grow, while offering families the opportunity to think about how we can reduce waste and nourish our own backyards.

This session will be facilitated by the Mini Changemakers team and Fox Haven’s team.

These programs are designed for caregivers and children to participate in together. We welcome children of all ages, with programming specifically designed for ages 3 through early elementary. Registration is free, but required to attend. Caregivers must be present with their children at all times.

Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy additional time outdoors on the farm after we finish our service project!
