Week 4 of The Pointer School Summer Holiday club-Art Attack
About this Event
Join us for a week of craft and fun activities based upon our theme of Art and the differnt kids of media the children can create with.
The Pointer School Holiday club is a childcare facility for children aged 3 - 11. We offer a varied program of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games and educational play to stimulate and entertain children.
Our arts and crafts are based on the theme of the week and include weekly special events and visitors.
The Holiday Club offers a safe environment with excellent adult: child ratios, under the watchful eye of our experienced staff who are all DBS checked. All our leaders are pediatric first aid qualified, and have experience in the Early Years.
Please provide your child with a cold nut-free pack lunch, a fruit snack for the morning and a refillable water bottle.

Day 1 Painting styles
Info: Today the children will experiment with different painting techniques including bubble and splatter art.

Day 2 Printing and paterns
Info: This morning the children will create patterns using potato printing and in the afternoon the children will experiment with Mandala craft.

Day 3 Famous Artists
Info: Today the children will try their hand at recreating Van Gough's sunflowers and a Picasso style collage using mixed media. The children will also be visited by the Education Group where they will decorate their own plates

Day 4 - Tissue paper and Weaving craft
Info: The children will use tissue paper to create the leaves today and in the afternoon they will create weaving patterns.

Day 5 Biscuit decorating and party afternoon
Info: This morning the children will decorate biscuits and this afternoon the children will have a party where they can play games and win prizes.
