Week 2 of The Pointer School Summer Holiday club-Animals and Nature
About this Event
Join us for a week of animal and nature themed craft and fun activities.
The Pointer School Holiday club is a childcare facility for children aged 3 - 11. We offer a varied program of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games and educational play to stimulate and entertain children.
Our arts and crafts are based on the theme of the week and include weekly special events and visitors.
The Holiday Club offers a safe environment with excellent adult: child ratios, under the watchful eye of our experienced staff who are all DBS checked. All our leaders are pediatric first aid qualified, and have experience in the Early Years.
Please provide your child with a cold nut-free pack lunch, a fruit snack for the morning and a refillable water bottle.

Day 1-Jungle Animals
Info: Today the children will be making their own Tiger masks and Jungle scenes using mixed media. The children will also be baking with our wonderful Cookie Monsters team.

Day 2 Ocean Creatures
Info: Today our younger children will create Rainbow fish and underwater sea collages. Our older pupils will create a craft octopus and Ocean collage.

Day 3 Minibeasts
Info: Today the children will be making craft bumble bees and butterflies. Our pupils in Reception to KS2 will experience a VR Mini beast workshop

Day 4 Farm animals
Info: Today all the children will be visited by Ark Animal Encounters with their petting zoo and our craft comes from the farmyard with our youngest children using their handprints to make cows and sheep whilst our eldest children will create ducks from their handprints and fields full of sheep.

Day 5 Relax and party
Info: It is the end of another busy week in the holiday club so our children can relax today by decorating biscuits and Baker Ross craft. In the afternoon there will be a party where the children can play games and win prizes.
