Data and impact training
28 May, 10am to 12pm with Cameron Holleran
Understand common pitfalls organisations fall into when trying to make sense of their impact. Participants learn what works well and what ‘means well’ but sells your work short. Impact reporting is not only about the good stuff – it’s about showing others where your organisation can make the best use of support.
At the end of the session, walk away with this knowledge:
- An understanding of what your impact is and could be
- Different ways of measuring impact in your work
- Develop an awareness of different data presentation & visualisation tools
Practical grant readiness: building strong foundations for funding
19 June, 10am to 12pm with Valeria Giannuzzi
This 2-hour in-person workshop is designed for small businesses and VCS organisations in Barking & Dagenham who want to strengthen their confidence and readiness when applying for funding.
Many organisations deliver essential and valuable work, but struggle to clearly articulate their mission, define measurable outcomes, and demonstrate impact within funding applications. This session focuses on strengthening the core foundations that make organisations fundable and strategically aligned.
In the session, participants will learn to:
- Clarify and refine their mission to improve funding alignment
- Develop a simple and practical Theory of Change framework that can be applied
- across projects and programmes
- Identify measurable outcomes and capture impact effectively in community settings
