VEIL WITHIN – a Winter Solstice celebration

The winter solstice, also known as Yule, is when the sun is at its lowest, the darkest day of the year. A space of stillness, rest and reflection. A time to remember that we need the darkness to have the light, to understand our inner world to clearly explore the world around us. One cannot exist without the other.

As we enter this time we will join together to turn within, connecting with our true selves, with spirit, softening the harder parts of ourselves. Allowing a clear vision to emerge for the new cycle.

We will celebrate this evening with a night of ritual, plant medicine and sensory food exploration, enjoying the soft stillness of darkness as we welcome the beginning of the waxing of the year.

As the Sun enters the sign of Capricorn marking the beginning of winter, we will connect with the Cardinal Earth element and the planet Saturn. The invitation is to bridge our inner purpose with our outer aspirations.
