Turning information into visuals

This course would suit people who would like to use a normal chatbot, such as ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini, to create meaningful and visually stimulating infographics. It is also suitable for those who may need to troubleshoot poor quality outputs and improve the clarity, relevance and visual impact of the results they produce.

Confidence using a general AI chatbot, such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot, will help you get more from this session, as the focus is on designing effective infographics and prompting for better visual outputs rather than basic chatbot use and navigation. A basic understanding of the capabilities, tendencies, limits and likely behaviours of AI image generation models would also be helpful.

You will get started with identifying what information matters and what can be removed, so that infographic content is clear, focused and purposeful. The course will also cover how to check and prepare data and text for image creation, helping you produce stronger prompts and more effective visual outputs.

You will also explore how to choose appropriate visual formats for different types of information, supporting better decisions about how ideas, data or messages should be presented visually.

The course will run on Monday 28 September 2026 at Stowmarket Innovation Gateway, Gateway 14, Stowmarket.
