Publish Creatively: Photo Zines Workshop - Delivered by Suffolk New College
A zine is one of the most satisfying things a photographer can make — a physical, finished object that tells a story entirely on your own terms. This workshop takes you from a collection of images to a complete, print-ready zine, covering the design decisions that make the difference between a dump of photos and a genuinely compelling piece of visual storytelling.
You'll learn how to sequence and edit your images for narrative effect, work with layout and typography to create pages that hold attention, and produce a zine that works whether it's for a personal project, a community exhibition, a portfolio, or simply something you want to exist in the world. No prior design experience needed — just images you care about and something you want to say with them.
This course is open to all who are interested, including:
