Summer Landscapes Kinusiaga

Start the summer season with this relaxing and inspiring Summer Landscape Kinusaiga Workshop. Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form where fabric pieces are carefully placed into a surface to create a beautiful collage-style artwork, all without any sewing.
In this peaceful, hands-on session, you’ll design and create your own summer landscape fabric artwork, inspired by rolling countryside, wildflower meadows, coastal scenes, or sunny skies. You’ll have access to a wide selection of colourful fabrics to bring your design to life, and you’re very welcome to bring along any fabrics of your own if you’d like to include something personal.
You can work from your own reference image or choose from a collection of landscape images provided on the day. Your tutor will guide you step by step through designing your template and constructing your piece, helping you transform simple fabric into a striking textured artwork.
Suitable for all abilities, this calming workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to slow down, get creative, and capture the beauty of the summer landscape in fabric.
You can choose to take your piece home framed for an additional £10, payable on the day.
