Volunteer work party - Himalayan Balsam bashing
About this Event
A volunteer work party to remove the non-native invasive plant, Himalayan Balsam, to improve local biodiversity and the health of local rivers and streams.
Organised by Petersfield Climate Action Network (PeCAN), Petersfield Town Council, & Western Sussex Rivers Trust.
Where: Goodyer Meadow, Peterfield.
When: Sunday 14th June, 1pm-3pm.

Access & toilets: Please choose sustainable transport if possible. Parking is available at Sussex Road Heath Car Park or Tesco's. The access is via a footpath on Sussex Road (///screening.orchestra.severe) or through the Causeway Estate (///measures.coach.hides). The nearest toilets are the Heath Toilets or at Tesco’s.
What to wear: Gardening/work gloves, sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather. Please ensure that your footwear is clean prior to coming onto site and all footwear will need to be cleaned prior to leaving site for biosecurity.
What to bring: Bring your own food & drink if required.
