Volunteer work party - Himalayan Balsam bashing
About this Event
A volunteer work party to remove the non-native invasive plant, Himalayan Balsam, to improve local biodiversity and the health of local rivers and streams.
Organised by Petersfield Climate Action Network (PeCAN), Petersfield Town Council, & Western Sussex Rivers Trust.
Where: Rotherlands Local Nature Reserve, Petersfield.
When: Sunday 20th June, 10am-12 noon.

Access & toilets: Please use sustainable transport if possible. Parking available at Petersfield Rugby Club car park.
What to wear: Gardening/work gloves, sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather. Please ensure that your footwear is clean prior to coming onto site and all footwear will need to be cleaned prior to leaving site for biosecurity.
What to bring: Bring your own food & drink if required.
