8-Day Gong Master Healer Accredited Course
About this Event
Our Gong Master Healer training is delivered over 8 days (4 weekends) and draws from the deep lineage of Gong and sacred-sound healing established by Don Conreaux (originator of Gong Yoga of Holistic Resonance, Gong Puja, Gong Master title).
Students will engage not only in instrument technique and facilitation but also in a spiritual, energetic and therapeutic framework.
Our Gong Master training lineage is rooted in the teachings and transmission of Don Conreaux, one of the most influential pioneers of the modern revival of the gong as a transformational and meditative instrument. A devoted student within the Kundalini Yoga tradition, Don Conreaux spent more than five decades exploring the transformative power of vibration, resonance, and harmonic sound. He articulated a vision of the gong not simply as a musical instrument, but as a vehicle for expanded consciousness, deep inner stillness, and planetary harmony. Central to his philosophy is the understanding that sound is a primary creative force. Through immersive resonance, the gong generates complex harmonic fields that may support nervous system regulation, meditative awareness, and profound states of presence. The practitioner, in this lineage, is not regarded as a performer but as a facilitator of sacred sound space, where intention, humility, and ethical presence are paramount. Don Conreaux described the gong as “the sound of total resonance” — a sonic mirror through which individuals may encounter both stillness and vastness. His work integrates ancient contemplative traditions with contemporary understanding of frequency and human consciousness, always returning to the principle of deep listening. Our own training honours this lineage while placing particular emphasis on the spiritual dimension of sound healing. We approach gong practice as a sacred discipline — a contemplative path that invites connection to the transpersonal, the archetypal, and the subtle realms of awareness. While grounded in responsible facilitation, our teaching prioritises the experiential and spiritual unfolding that arises through immersive sound meditation. This lineage was further deepened through advanced residential study at Hawkwood College, where the teachings were transmitted within a dedicated and reflective learning environment. We acknowledge with gratitude the lineage holders and traditions that have preserved this body of knowledge, and we carry it forward with integrity, reverence, and compassionate intention.
It is recommended that you purchase a Gong before or during this course.
