Led by the magnetic presence of singer/guitarist Robby Dean, this is the kind of hard-working, rock ‘n roll band everyone wants to root for. Along with the rest of the fantastic lineup, the vocal presence and captivating vibe of Jillian Secor (Golden Cadillacs) is a major X-factor for Ryder Thieves.
This Placerville-based band made quite the statement on their last visit here, focusing exclusively on original material. It’s rare for an audience to be able to instantly connect in the way this one did with songs they are completely unfamiliar with. Ryder Thieves are the kind of band that could’ve been at home in the glory days of the 70’s while also having the visionary gusto to set a fresh course into the future.
