Established in the Bay Area since 2001, Bayonics have been generating buzz with their original blend of stylistic diversity. Their ultra-fresh original music defines their own genre of Latin-infused soul, seductive grooves and Caribbean reggae which defies typical classification. You’ll close your eyes and imagine yourself headed to Jamaica with adventurous detours through Mexico and South America. Factor in elements of rock and jazz and you have yourself an intoxicating, sonic potpourri.

Bayonics started when a salsa cover band called “Mala Fama” joined forces with a funk and hip-hop project called Natoma. Since then, the band has blossomed into a larger-than-life collective with a global impact. Led by the remarkable charismatic presence and beautiful voice of Jairo Vargas, this band wastes no time putting audiences under its spell.

Electrifying the dancefloor to start the night and then keeping it toasty in between sets will one of Nevada County’s most beloved dance floor sorcerers, DJ K. Bueno. He carries the sort of Zen cool of Paul Newman getting ready for a Color of Money hustle. His sonic strategy is distilled into a bolt of lightning, striking every dancefloor with a matrix of seductive energy. He instantly casts a collective spell, leaving inhibitions in its wake.

K. Bueno specializes in pulsing Latin beats, electro cumbia flow and funky fusion. He also unearths infectious remixes of songs you know and love. He is a chameleon who adapts to any setting and vibe with seemingly effortless fluidity. Operating from deep in the zone, he’s as calculated as a mob assassin and organic as an Amazonian shaman.
