Pallets of Possibility - Create a Vertical Garden
About this Event
Turn an ordinary wooden pallet into a beautiful, space-saving garden you'll enjoy all season long! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to transform a reclaimed pallet into a charming vertical planter that's perfect for mounting against a fence, wall, or garden shed.
We'll show you how a few simple additions — treated lumber, soil, and sturdy metal stakes — create a durable planter that's easy to install without concrete and just as easy to move whenever inspiration strikes.
Vertical pallet gardens are ideal for shallow-rooted annuals, herbs, succulents, leafy greens, and other seasonal favorites. Plant cheerful pansies in spring, fragrant herbs and colorful succulents in summer, then refresh your display with ornamental kale, cabbages, gourds, and baby pumpkins for fall.
Whether you're gardening in a small space or simply looking for a fun weekend project, a pallet garden is a creative way to recycle, save space, and add rustic charm to your outdoor living area. You'll leave with the knowledge and confidence to build a vertical garden that's as practical as it is beautiful.
