In conjunction with the exhibition , exhibiting artist Charles Campbell offers an afternoon workshop to explore the opening up process that underpins his artwork, Breath Portraits.

Participants will be guided through a meditative journey to connect their breath with that of their forebearers, giving windows into the lives and perceptions of ancestors. Conversations that relate to joys, sorrows, and sensorial experiences will then follow. The afternoon concludes with refreshments.

This is a free program open to anyone who self-identifies as Black, Indigenous, a Person of Colour, and/or multi-racial.

The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is located on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, today known as the Xʷsepsəm and Songhees Nations.

The AGGV is committed to providing a welcoming and accessible destination for all to enjoy. The main entrance is wheelchair accessible with a ramp on the left side of the entrance with no handrail. There is one set of power doors located at the left side of the entrance at the top of the ramp.
