About this Event
Join Cumbria Biodiversity Data Centre (CBDC) to explore why documenting the wildlife you see, hear, or find plays a vital role in nature recovery. This engaging talk will introduce practical tools and simple techniques for recording wildlife, along with real-life examples that show just how easy—and impactful—it can be to get involved.
CBDC collates and manages biodiversity and geodiversity data for Cumbria, supporting researchers, educators, planners, and environmental professionals to make informed decisions for nature. Based at Tullie in Carlisle, CBDC is one of the oldest environmental records centres in the UK and plays a key role in protecting and enhancing the county’s natural environment.
Whether you’re new to wildlife recording or looking to build your skills, this talk will show how everyone can contribute valuable data for nature.
