About this Event
Writer and environmental thinker Karen Lloyd explores human–nature relationships across the globe, from Costa Rican rainforests to Scotland and the Lake District. Drawing on her new book Earthworks, she reveals the hidden lives of species and landscapes, from urban wildflower meadows to contested spaces of rewilding and recovery.
In a time of escalating environmental crisis, Lloyd argues for new ways of thinking about conservation, justice and our shared future with the more-than-human world. Lyrical, urgent and hopeful, this talk is a call to recognise the deep interconnection between people, land and other species.
Copies of Earthworks will also be available to purchase on the day.
