WEEK 14 Intermediate
Hot Head Leech. The Hot Head Leech is a versatile streamer fly pattern designed to imitate the leech, a common aquatic food source for trout and other predatory fish. It features a bright, beadhead—often in orange or chartreuse—that provides weight and an enticing jigging action as it moves through the water. This pattern is most effective when fished with slow, erratic retrieves or allowed to drift in still waters, mimicking the undulating motion of a swimming leech.
