WEEK 11 Intermediate
Black Ghost Marabou. The Black Ghost is a traditional streamer fly that is tied to imitate a smelt or other baitfish. These flies have long been used to target brook trout, landlocked salmon, and lake trout in Maine and across the northeastern part of the US. This pattern can be tied with a traditional feather wing, or the marabou style which imparts enhanced action in the water. Dead-drifted, stripped, or trolled, this fly is as versatile as it is effective.
