About this Event

Leverage Your Site's Natural Resources for Sustainable Landscape Design

We are thrilled to once again host Pellettieri Associates for an insightful workshop here at Bedrock Gardens! If you are wanting to know the best way to incorporate your existing, natural landscape features into a more holistic design, be sure to attend this workshop for insights from the professionals.

Description: Learning to identify and leverage the natural resources and opportunities on your property can have significant positive impacts on the sustainability of your landscape (and bank account). Hear from the landscape professionals at Pellettieri Associates to learn more about what they look for when first evaluating an existing site. We will discuss ways that homeowners can seamlessly integrate the natural advantages of their property, and leverage those elements, to produce a final landscape design plan that works in harmony with the surrounding natural environment.

Tickets are FREE for members (with member discount code) and $20 for non-members which includes a full day pass to the gardens.

Meet the PAI Team!

George Pellettieri is a seasoned veteran of nearly 50 years in broad areas of Landscape Architecture, including residential, commercial, and institutional projects. He founded the design-build-firm of Pellettieri Associates Inc. in 1983. Under his leadership, PAI has grown to be recognized as one of the most highly regarded and award winning landscape architecture companies in the State of New Hampshire. He holds Landscape Architecture licenses from New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, and is also CLARB certified.

Graham Pellettieri is the youngest son in the Pellettieri family, and has a passion for technology and its practical application in real-world environments. He has applied the use of virtual reality and augmented reality in landscape designs, and is also an certified commercial drone pilot, and enjoys using all available technology to help augment data gathering on landscaping projects.

Polly Sinclair, Senior Landscape Designer . Polly moved to New Hampshire in the fall of 2023 and joined the PAI team in 2024. She previously worked for a landscape architecture firm in Cambridge, MA, where she contributed to diverse public and private site design projects throughout and beyond the Boston Metro area. Polly’s interest in landscape architecture stemmed from undergraduate research on garden philosophy, and from work experience on organic farms and gardens. She holds a BA in Art History from Colorado College, and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where her work focused on cultural landscapes and community engagement.

Terra Weiland, Landscape Designer. Terra moved from Michigan to join the PAI team. She has a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in Conservation Biology with a minor in Education. After working with Landscape Architects on various open space projects for environmental non-profits in Detroit, Michigan, she became very interested in design and space creation. She attended the University of Michigan for her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and has been working in high-end landscape design/build since 2019.

Ross Schaner, Operations Coordinator. Ross has worked in the horticulture and floral design industries for over 15 years. His educational background in both Biology and Illustration provide the foundation for his love of designing with plants. Ross cites his time with Emily Thompson Flowers in Manhattan as pivotal in his understanding of using plant material for creative expression. Ross most recently served as the Head Gardener at Dingleton House in Cornish, NH. There he worked alongside garden designer Bill Noble to restore and revitalize one of the great American gardens designed by Charles A. Platt.
