Art in the Gardens

Bedrock Gardens is filled with art—why not make some of your own? Art in the Gardens is a drop-in creative space where visitors of all ages can explore nature-inspired crafts in a beautiful outdoor setting. Each session offers a different hands-on activity, from weaving dream catchers and crafting miniature journals to building boats and designing playful nature masks.

June 18: Nature Masks (All Ages)

Participants will have the opportunity to create masks using natural materials sourced directly from Bedrock Gardens. They will use “nature treasures” to create a mask base and create a mask that reflects their own distinctive ideas and artistic styles. Each one will be a unique work of art!

July 16: Float Your Boat (All Ages)

Set sail on a creative adventure at Bedrock Gardens! In this workshop, participants will design and build their own miniature boats using simple materials and recycled treasures. Once your boat is ready, we’ll launch our tiny fleet down the “Wiggle Waggle”!

All materials are provided, and no prior boat-building experience is needed. Boat Building 1pm to 2pm/Sailing 2pm to 3pm

August 20: Nature Dream Catchers (All Ages)

Weave your own dream catcher using twigs, twine, and natural treasures. Add feathers, flowers, and flair for a one-of-a-kind creation.

September 17: Miniature Books (Adult)

Create your own tiny journal with folded paper, thread, and leafy covers. Perfect for sketches, secrets, or garden observations.

Art in the Gardens is a drop-in style program with a materials fee of just $5. Register in advance to ensure your spot or pay at the kiosk when you arrive.

Admission to Bedrock Gardens is free for members and $15 for non-members. Children 12 and under are free with their parent or guardian.
