What is a Sacred Drum?
A sacred drum is a frame drum traditionally a tool used in Shamanic work such as meditation and journeying, Earth based spiritual practices and other personal power work.
What you will experience:
In building your own drum, you will join others in a ritual process that enfolds into a deep and creative journey through guided meditation, working with animal skins and wooden hoop. I call this the animal give away and hoop of life.
Who is this workshop for?
Any adult who wants to create a spiritual tool to use in personal life, group rituals, healing work or for the joy of creating your own drum!
Supplies include:
Drum frame 15 inch maple
Wet animal hide Elk
Drum beater alder wood
Supply fee $150 included in the price of tuition is non refundable once the order is made.
What to bring: A bagged lunch and clothing you don’t mind getting messy in.
Please realize you are working with wet animal skins that will have odor. Take this under consideration as you make the decision if this workshop is for you. This workshop is an outdoor event please dress accordingly. Thank you!
