CATA Creative Kids Workshop:Primary School Children Ages 6-10

Inclusive of 3 Creative Arts Workshops, games, and rest and restore

Winter Wonderland is an engaging, winter-themed program designed to inspire primary school students through creative play, imagination, and visual arts. This program, grounded in multimodal art therapy, promotes creativity with a person-centred approach to nurture personal autonomy and confidence in children.
Program Highlights:
Creative Exploration: Students collaborate with Creative Arts Therapists to delve into their sense of self and the world, inspired by winter's imagery. They explore winter as experienced in their own country, their family's country of origin, and the iconic snowy landscapes of the northern hemisphere.
Focus and Imagination: Activities are designed to enhance students' focus and encourage creative thinking.
Self-Awareness: The program fosters self-awareness and personal autonomy, helping children develop a sense of independence.
Passion Development: By encouraging personal expression, students can discover and nurture their passions, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.
Communication and Agency: The program offers various forms
of communication, providing students with tools to express themselves and their ideas.
Emotional Regulation: Acting as a circuit-breaker, the program helps manage dysregulation or overwhelm, benefiting both students and their families.
