Fountain Bike Library: September 17th - 20th

Take a free bike ride in Shirley Chisholm State Park: enjoy nature, get some exercise, and have fun. Weekly registration opens on Mondays.
About this Event

We ask that you:

• Register each person riding in their own name, including kids

• Bring an official ID (government issued with photo & address). We'll hold onto it until the bikes and helmets are returned

• Arrive at designated time. We will reserve the proper size bikes within a 15 minute grace period. After that, your reserved bikes become available to others. You may claim your reservation within the timeframe, but the proper size may not be available.

• Wear a helmet (yours or ours)

• Stay within park boundaries, ride safely & keep to the right, and be respectful of all park users when cycling

• Return the bike within 2 hours; after a 3pm departure time, return the bike by 5pm closing time.

• Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian

From Thursday through Sunday, choose from the following sessions:

10am - noon

11am - 1pm

Noon - 2pm

1 pm - 3 pm

2pm - 4pm

3 pm - 5 pm

4 pm - 5pm

Please be on time and report to the Bike Library at 950 Fountain Avenue, near the trail entrance from parking lot. We offer a 15 minute grace period, before lending your reserved bikes to other park patrons.
