Anyone who lives or works in Salford is welcome.

This event aims to celebrate the contribution of faith communities across Salford and help people connect with the networks of action that support communities to live well.

What's the program?

During the event, we will:

1. Share the findings from the faith-based social action mapping project
2. Hear from civic and health leaders about their vision for working alongside people in Salford, especially those connected to faith communities
3. Explore how existing involvement in — or interest in becoming part of — social action in Salford can be supported through this wider network of networks

What will you leave with?

You will leave with;

1. a clear understanding about key essential services that are needed for communities to start well, live well and age well
2. connection to networks of cross-sector organisations that deliver essential services and are a driving force for everyday support for people in Salford
3. the mapping tool which enables organisations to connect and collaborate with any faith organisation in Salford
4. hope and encouragement that social, health, and economic inequalities are being tackled at the grassroots level in Salford
