Free Salford Quays Photowalk (Collecting Salford Stories)
About this Event
Join us for a relaxed, free photowalk around Salford Quays, open to everyone.
We'll spend a couple of hours exploring together with our cameras, taking photos, chatting and enjoying a creative afternoon. Whether you're an experienced photographer or picking up a camera for the first time, you're welcome to join us.
You're invited to submit your favourite images after the walk to a collaborative community art project, co-created by the SAZ Media Committee. The final piece will be a collage made from photographs taken across Salford, forming the shape of the city itself and celebrating the people and places that make the city what it is.
No photography experience is needed. If you don't have a camera, don't worry, we'll have some you can borrow for free. You're also welcome to bring your own camera or use your phone.

Who it's for
This walk is open to everyone, whether you're picking up a camera for the first time, enjoy photography as a hobby, or simply fancy a creative walk with other people. You don't need to know anything about photography to take part. Help with camera settings and photography tips will be available throughout the walk.
