The City of Osaka is bringing a delegation of 5 exceptional businesses in the manufacturing, food and drinks, aerospace and education sectors to the United Kingdom.

During their UK trade mission (8-9th July 2026), the entrepreneurs will visit Manchester to connect with British buyers, importers, wholesalers, specialty retailers, and distributors interested in diversifying their supply chains with high-quality products.

Manchester will host a dedicated B2B engagement day on 9th July 2026, featuring business-to-business meetings and networking opportunities.

The Japanese delegation consists of 5 vetted and export-ready enterprises offering:

• Waste plastics, green methane, green hydrogen
• Flexible blades, die-cut rolls, embossing rolls, metal-processed products

• Miso (ready to eat, for spreading), Saikyozuke base
• Takoyaki

This event is FREE of charge for UK and European buyers, but registration is required.

• British companies, and especially buyers, importers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers operating in the manufacturing, aerospace, education and food & drinks sectors.

13:00 – 16:30 – One-to-One Business Meetings (Meetings will last approximately 30 minutes each. Individual schedules will be provided in advance.)

Please note this event is exclusive for companies seeking to purchase products and/or services from the delegation. If you are a service provider (e.g. translation company, logistics provider or other), whilst you can express interest, priority will be given to buyers.

5. At least 1-2 days before the event, you will receive a draft of your B2B meetings. Please note B2B meetings will take place face to face and will last 30 min each between 13:00 pm and 16:30 p.m. UK Time.
