About this Event
As we face the climate and ecological crisis, the future can seem unimaginable, and daunting. It can bring up emotional responses to our daily lives that we haven’t felt before.
Some people call this climate anxiety, or ecological grief. As communities have begun to speak about these experiences more and more, we realise that access to nature, and the land from which we are all from is an invaluable escape, and place to process these confusing times. Because of this, Right to Roam’s mission is not just a political one, but a personal one, for many.
Becky and Beth introduce and support others along their journeys of ecological grief, and want to spend the session identifying exactly what it is about accessing our natural world that helps us to process the climate and ecological crises. The session will be a mix of educating ourselves and each other, and sharing experiences. Everyone is welcome, whether you have never heard of these terms before and want to find out more, or want a new space to explore your feelings further.
