Community Outing: Forest Rest Walk at Evergreen Brickworks

Each month, BIST Members enjoy a FREE Community Outing to a local attraction such as a museum, art gallery, the movies OR ANYWHERE fun we’d like to go!
This event is intended for Brain Injury Surivivors and their Caregivers.
*PLEASE NOTE - This specific Community Outing is scheduled in the MORNING @ 10:00AM.
*MEET UP LOCATION:
Inside the Visitor Information area at Evergreen Brickworks.
Visitor Information area is located beside the Picnic Cafe & Wine Shop.
Visitor Information area is located EAST of the Weekday Shuttle Stop & Wheel-Trans Stop, and they are both located near each other.

BIST welcomes Marie Barber, Founder of Forestrest.
Marie is a Relational Nature & Forest Therapy Guide who will be guiding and facilitating the forest rest walk session at Evergreen Brickworks.

*WHAT TO BRING:
Please wear comfortable clothing.
If it's available to you - please bring a yoga mat OR blanket OR towel to use to sit on at Evergreen Brickworks.
We encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle with you.
The Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) enhances the lives of people living with the effects of brain injury.
Membership for Brain Injury Survivors costs $5 a year and can be waived if this fee is a barrier.
