Welcome to the third annual Toronto Island Holistic Yoga & Nutrition Retreat! This is the perfect getaway to relax, restore and focus on your mental and physical well-being.
This rejuvenating island escape includes:
- Yoga sessions to improve strength, flexibility and release stored tension

Retreat Facilitator
Sierra Day is a Culinary Nutritionist and seasoned yogini with 16 years of experience. Trained in India, the Canary Islands, and Canada she is a certified yoga instructor in Hatha, Vinyasa, Aerial Yoga and Yoga Nidra as well as a certified mat Pilates instructor (PMI).
Sierra has over 17 years of experience in the culinary industry, working at a variety of roles at numerous restaurants, and most recently developed the menu for Impact Kitchen, a local health food chain.
Equipped with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food and a Certificate in Culinary Arts, she runs Toronto Island Oasis, an open-air holistic yoga centre offering enriching classes, retreats, rentals and catering to the local community.

Arrival
Info: Short guided walk to Toronto Island Oasis from Wards Island ferry dock. Guests will be welcomed with a selection of light foods and beverages.
🕑: 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM
Welcome Circle
Info: Guests will gather in a welcoming circle to connect and set intentions for the day. From there we will transition into a guided meditation and pranayama to ready the mind and body for movement.
🕑: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Moving Meditation
Info: An energizing vinyasa, focusing on connecting movement to breath, awakening the body and clearing any stagnant energy to find harmony and balance, grace and fluidity.

Lunch Social
Info: Enjoy a nutrition focused, anti-inflammatory meal crafted with locally sourced ingredients, while receiving health highlights and socializing with like-minded individuals under a canopy of trees.

Info: Opportunity to explore the island or relax after lunch.

Restorative Flow
Info: A slower flow focusing on restoring and balancing energies by opening, stretching and relaxing the body.

Yoga Nidra
Info: Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a guided meditation that allows for a deep relaxation by entering a state between sleep and consciousness. It has a profound effect on calming the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the mind and body to find ease and rejuvenation.
Closing Circle
Info: A space to reflect, integrate, and celebrate the transformation we’ve experienced. Surrounded by the energy of our shared journey, we take a moment to express gratitude, share insights, and honour the connections we’ve made.
