The Mending Cafe

Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, head to Ed's Mercantile for our Mending Cafe! No instruction is given....the workshop space is all yours to use but we'll be on hand in the store to help thread the sewing machines, gather supplies and give repair guidance.

Bring your clothing items that need mending and use our machines or sew by hand with our supply of embroidery thread, needles, fabric and more....no need to bring anything but what you wish to mend! We have a small kitchen at the shop so you can help yourself to tea and coffee while you work away. A fun and productive afternoon! Even more fun if you bring a friend.
