The Breathing Tree presents Breath Worship & Tea Ceremony.
We are bringing Breath Worship to City & Soul Wellness Collective October 25th.
Here at The Breathing Tree we believe the body is the temple & the Breath is The Spirit.
So naturally we have come to this, Breath Worship.
Breath Worship begins with the first cup. Mullein, the opener. Seven feet of silver quiet, walking beside the human breath for over two thousand years. It walks into the closed places first & sets the doors of the body ajar.
Yarrow, the closer. Achilles' (warriors) herb, wild & steady, drawn around what has been opened so nothing gathered escapes.
Two herbs to hold the whole ceremony: open with mullein, seal with yarrow. And between them, the breath itself — the breath is the Spirit, moving where the tea has cleared the way. Three & a half hours of guided breath, gently conjuring the Warrior spirit to do the inner work. Leave with a practice, not just an evening.
