In this playful class, you'll learn how to expertly incorporate gloves into your routine, using them as tools of seduction and storytelling.

Get exposed to various styles, textures, and colours, and discover how to enhance your movements with graceful reveals that mesmerize your audience. Gloves are anything but boring!

Through a combination of choreography, improvisation, and character development, you'll develop your unique stage presence and confidence after learning essential techniques, including teasing, layering, and the dramatic removal of gloves, helping you to master the art of seduction in the process.

Whether you're a seasoned performer or a curious beginner, "Glove at First Sight" promises to elevate your burlesque skills and leave your audience breathless.

The workshop will take place at Miles Zero Dance Society, located at 9931 78 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 1N6. We’ll be gathering on October 25, 2026, from 1:30 pm to around 3:00 pm. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to get settled and sign in. All participants must register in advance, and attendance is capped at 15 people to ensure a focused and supportive environment. Registration is $35 (+fees), and 5 PWYC slots are available, no questions, no judgment, as long as you can make it and enjoy the workshop!

Please note the studio's accessibility features; The main floor has a clear path from the front entrance, and two accessible washrooms are available on this level. The upstairs studio can only be accessed by stairs, and we regret to inform you that it is not wheelchair-accessible. We share this information so guests with accessibility needs can plan comfortably.
