About this Event

Emotional Resilience for Teens — 6-Week In-Person Program in Edmonton

Help your teen build greater emotional awareness, confidence, resilience, and self-mastery in a supportive in-person setting.

This 6-week program is designed for teens ages 13–19 who want practical tools for managing stress, understanding emotions, strengthening self-awareness, and navigating everyday challenges with greater confidence.

Rather than relying on lectures alone, the program uses story as a powerful way to learn. Over the six weeks, participants will work through the full transformational novel Unplugging from the Game and its companion Teen Workbook.

The story provides a relatable framework for exploring emotions, choices, identity, relationships, and the patterns that shape how we respond to life. Each session includes guided discussion, reflection, workbook activities, and opportunities for teens to connect what they are learning to their own lives.

Participation and sharing are always encouraged at each teen’s own comfort level.

What teens will explore:

  • Understanding thoughts, emotions, and automatic reactions
  • Practical tools for emotional regulation and stress management
  • Building confidence and greater self-awareness
  • Developing healthier responses to difficult situations
  • Mindfulness and present-moment awareness
  • Learning through story, reflection, and real-life application
  • Connecting with other teens in a supportive environment
