Explore the possibilities of immersive documentary storytelling with trailblazing filmmaker Michèle Stephenson. Drawing from her Haitian and Panamanian roots, Stephenson creates innovative nonfiction works that center the lived experiences of the Black diaspora and challenge traditional storytelling forms. Through conversation and reflection, we'll examine how emerging media tools can expand nonfiction storytelling and create new pathways for empathy, engagement, and social change. 🎥✨

Following the talk, attendees will have a chance to view The Changing Same, a Sundance-premiered immersive experience exploring race, history, and healing. 🌍
