Roots of Connection: Activating Spaces of Art, Food, & Liberation
About this Event
A community-centered activation convening art, ecological knowledge, and cultural practice into an immersive gathering space that reclaims access to land-based learning, creative expression, and collective joy. Through interactive installations, foraging-based education, and collaborative art-making, this project highlights and amplifies existing community pillars, demonstrating how long-standing local organizations embody resilience, care, and knowledge-sharing traditions.
By bringing these groups together in a shared environment, this activation fosters cross-pollination of resources and relationships, creating opportunities to imagine and enact new forms of social infrastructures rooted in interdependence, empowerment, and collective wellbeing.
