Begin the evening with live music and fresh oysters, then join us for a conversation with Stacy Latt Savage, sculptor and professor whose work is featured in Under Construction: America at 250, the Art Complex Museum's commissioned outdoor sculpture exhibition marking the nation's 250th anniversary.

Savage will discuss her practice and the work on view — a conversation that promises to be as wide-ranging as her career itself. Driven by a love of making, a fascination with raw material, and a deep commitment to process, she has spent decades creating sculpture that responds to the landscapes and the communities it inhabits. From major museum exhibitions to site-specific works in historic natural settings, her practice is rooted in the belief that art and nature are in constant, generative dialogue.
