$49 Coastal Seafood Cooking Class: Shrimp, Scallops & Lemon Pastry

Mondays do not need to be boring... The how to in choosing the freshest Gulf Shrimp and Maine Scallops are combined with the easily developed flavors of Portugese Style roasted bell pepper based Soffritto and Paella like rice pilaf to make two dishes that begin and end the evening with class and reminiscent of dinner by the sea. Curious as to how lemons, sugar and a little work make a refreshing and delicious dessert? The evening will be finished with a lemon curd filled pastry puff that sets well with a little espresso... yes we have something for that if you like!
What we are making:
- Seared Gulf Shrimp with Roast yellow summer squash with Lemon zest and parsley puree.
- Scallop and Gulf Shrimp Soffritto with summer kale and rice "Pliaf"
- Puff pastry filled with Meyer lemon Curd
