Yoga in the Galleries: Saturday Mornings
About this Event
Yoga in the Galleries is a 60-minute yoga session designed to inspire and uplift. Hosted in the beautiful Tiffany Gallery every Saturday morning, you will be invited to move your body towards a presence with your inner creative. After, you're invited to linger with your journal if you'd like to doodle, draw, or meditate.
- Saturdays: 9:30am to 10:30am & 11am to 12pm
- Mondays: 6:30 to 7:30pm is Gentle Yoga in the Galleries
- 4th Saturday of the month: 9:30am to 10:30am is Yoga en Español (for learners and native speakers alike!)
Note: no class will be held on Saturday, July 4.
Participants should bring their own mat, water bottle, and notebook with writing utensil. No late entry!

This is a donation-based class that supports the Museum's mission. We created tickets tiered at the levels of $12, $16, and $20. Opting for the higher level tickets makes way for those who can't afford as much. No refunds given on tickets purchased. Thank you.

Host: AJ Orlang-van Niekirk
Info: AJ first began her movement journey as a ballet and tap dancer, turning to yoga as a college student over 20 years ago. In 2013, she discovered barre, becoming a certified barre instructor the following year. After being diagnosed with degenerative spinal arthritis, AJ returned to her yoga study as a way to manage her condition and reestablish confidence in her mind-body connection. Motivated by what she's learned about strength, health, and well-being since her diagnosis, AJ brings energy and creativity to every class, while ensuring comfort and suitability for all levels.

Host: Shelby Sih
Info: Shelby is a RYT-200 yoga teacher and public health professional passionate about making wellness accessible and inclusive. Trained through Frog Lotus Yoga and certified in Yoga for Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression, Shelby combines mindful movement, breath work, and a trauma-informed approach to help students build strength, resilience, and connection. Her classes offer a welcoming space for practitioners of all levels to move, breathe, and recharge.

3rd Saturdays, with Anastassia
Host: Anastassia Kornilova
Info: Anastassia discovered yoga as part of her journey to cultivate better mental and physical health. Initially completing her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training to gain a deeper understanding of the practice, she realized that she loved teaching and supporting others. She believes that yoga mirrors daily life, and she hopes to help her students cultivate strength, resilience and flexibility in both.

Host: Sarah Loden
Info: Sarah has been practicing yoga for 15+ years, and teaching yoga for 8+ years. She holds a 200hr certificate from Zuna Yoga, a Children's and Family Yoga Certificate through Rainbow Children's Yoga, and a Level 1 Certification as a Journey Dance Facilitator. She is passionate about movement, mindfulness, and celebrating the human experience!

Host: Erin Mackay
Info: Erin is a Vinyasa yoga teacher who strives to create an environment where yogis can build a flexible practice that honors their needs. Erin completed her Yoga Alliance-certified teacher training in 2016 and taught at YogaWorks (FKA Tranquil Space) in Arlington until 2020. When not in yoga pants, Erin is a women's health advocate and a chocolate chip cookie aficionado.

Info: Tate is a mental health practitioner, yoga teacher, sound healer, and integrative wellness practitioner. Her classes offer a fluid balance of dynamic and restorative movement, thoughtfully integrating breath work and sound to support grounding, presence, and a deeper connection to the body. With over five years of experience teaching in studio, treatment, and corporate settings, she guides students through intentional sequencing to support regulation and a deeper attunement to their core selves.

5th Saturdays, with Devyn
Host: Devyn Beswick
Info: Devyn is a storyteller, multidisciplinary artist, and RYT-200 yoga instructor based in Washington, D.C. Devyn uses movement/embodiment practices and sound healing as a tool for creative expression. With gentle asana, guided meditations, breathwork, and her soothing handpan, her classes are deeply meditative, and encourage a practice of surrender.
