Winter Trees: Clay Workshop

Get ready for the winter mood by making some evergreen trees from clay. Imagine these decorative sculptures displayed with a nice spruce scented candle! In this 3-hour workshop participants will learn hand-building methods to create at least two trees. The pair of trees consists of one big and the other small. The larger tree will be more sculptural; students will make a texture-decorated slab for the smaller. After the pieces are dry, staff will fire and glaze the trees in the color of your choosing. Students will return after a couple of weeks to pick up their trees. An e-mail will be sent with the pick-up dates and times. $45
