Bartender Basics 101

Bartending is a fun way to make good money if done with professionalism, consistency, and having knowledge of the craft. Come be a Bartender for the evening as our Instructor teaches simple bartending skills to start you on your way to making good money in the service industry. Knowing how to make a well mixed cocktail will also amaze your guest at your next holiday party or special occasion, setting you apart from other party hosts. The 5hr class will be held in a private intimate bar setting and participants will have a chance to get behind the bar and mix some classic cocktails and learn a few specialty drinks. You will have fun learning proper bar etiquette as well as other bartending secrets that will make you stand out behind the bar. You will be provided with the tools and materials needed to successfully complete the course as well as a swag bag to take with you.

Our interactive class is taught by Mrs. Ashley Gaddy who is a 25 year veteran in the service and entertainment industries. Ashley is a graduate of Tennessee State University and started out as a beer tub girl in 1999 while attending college. She started from the bottom and worked her way up in the service industry as a server, bartender, and manager at some of the hottest bars and nightclubs in Nashville. Ashley was a featured Bartender in the Nashville Scene in 2005 when she managed 4 high volumn nightclubs on 2nd Avenue. In 2011 Ashley became the owner of her 1st bar called Donks Bar & Grill with her husband Robert Gaddy as her business partner. Since then Ashley and Robert have had several business ventures together with their concentration and expertise being in the service and entertainment industries.
